Mallorys 8th birthday

We just celebrated Mallorys birthday. We had lots of friends and family show up and it was a fun time. It rained a few times and the wind picked up so we ended up coming inside. I also posted some pictures of her new pet gerbil, Spinner. That was her gift from mom, dad and Abby. She is doing good taking care of her so far and I think we have her litter box trained already woo hoo!

Disneyland 2009

This was our trip to Disneyland when Tom was home from Iraq and getting ready to go to Korea. It was a wonderful vacation and time for our family. The girls went on all of the big rides and loved it. Mallory and Abby also got to order room service for the first time and apparently thats pretty exciting when your 6-7 years old. We went to a Lilo and Stich character breakfast where we took some good pictures with the characters, not to mention the breakfast was Hawaii style-delicious. It was also a first time trip to Disneyland for Tom and I which made it that much more exciting. Tom bought a pirate hat and he still loves to wear it around the house and pretend he is a pirate!

Abby's kindergarten field trip

This was Abby's last field trip in kindergarten. We rode on the new front runner train to the Union Station in Ogden. It was even more special because Aunt Brooke was visiting and she was able to come with us. Abby had a wonderful kindergarten teacher and we will miss her. The field trip was lots of fun and we were able to go inside some really old train cars from WWII.

Hike to waterfall canyon

Family hike up waterfall canyon in Ogden, UT. My sister Brooke was visiting from Texas and she loves hiking. Thank you Brooke for arranging the hike and allowing my girls to see the beauty of the mountains that I grew up with.
